Xceed est à la recherche d’un Graphiste. Le lieu de travail sera à notre bureau de Boucherville, dans le secteur du Complexe 20/20. Le candidat aura la responsabilité de :

• Créer, en collaboration avec nos développeurs, tous les éléments graphiques de nos produits pour les plateformes WPF et Silverlight.

Compétences recherchées

• Diplôme collégial technique dans l’une des disciplines suivantes ou l’équivalent : intégration multimédia, infographie ou graphisme;
• Minimum de 3 années d’expérience en infographie (dessin vectoriel et bitmap);
• Fortes compétences en illustration, en design sophistiqué et en typographie;
• Maîtrise de Photoshop; Illustrator et Fireworks;
• Expérience de programmation en HTML;
• Expérience en animation 2D/3D dans les interfaces usagers (UI);
• Compréhension et intérêt pour la conception d’interfaces utilisateur;

Currently AMP Associated Marketing Partners is seeking a Web Designer as per the following criteria:

Scope

Reporting to our Senior Project Manager, you will design, produces and maintains various client websites. You will also design, and produce a series of electronic mail campaigns and contribute to our overall web communications strategy and special projects.

Primary responsibilities

* Create design prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content, for AMP, AMP affiliate and client websites.
* Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements if necessary.
* Create visual concepts that match the content and the image wanted by the clients but that respect the overall brand for the event or organization; ensure that sites are easy to navigate.
* Build websites using technologies that conform to international standards and make sure that they are universally accessible.
* Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites when requested by AMP personnel or clients.
* Integrate 3rd party web tools (blogs, etc) and social networks into websites when requested by AMP personnel or clients.
* Provide training on maintenance and update procedures to clients who choose to take charge of their own websites.
* Design, and produce a series of electronic mail campaigns for AMP or client related initiatives.
* Contribute to the overall development of AMP and client web communications strategies.

Requirements

* Minimum two years of experience in web design, of which a minimum of one year producing table-less, XHTML, standards-compliant cross browser, and gracefully-degrading code and a minimum of one year experience with DOM scripting and Movable Type.
* Advanced knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and of digital imaging and illustration with Adobe Photoshop, QuarkXPress and Illustrator with formal training an asset.
* Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and dynamic HTML; experience with Macromedia Flash.
* Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
* Extensive experience working on a Mac platform.
* Knowledge of integration of Social Networking Tools and video links
* Very good spoken and written English in order to design prototypes. Basic knowledge of spoken French an asset.
* Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving.
* Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way to provide training to staff and faculty.
* Formal training in desktop publishing applications, and photography definite assets.
* Superior knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques, a strong online portfolio displaying user-centred design, and experience with web database solutions definite assets.
* Understands and respects each stage of the interface design process, from concept to page flow to execution
* Understands and respects information architecture and has a good sense of layout and color palette selection
* Takes pride in their work and is open to constructive feedback of their work
* Can provide examples of easily navigated user interfaces as part of their portfolio
* Designers based in Montreal preferred.
