• Extensive experience in server-side scripting, preferably ASP.NET platform, C# language and Visual Studio

Position Overview

The Web Design/Email Campaign Manager works in the account services team to undertake a variety of web and email designing tasks. The position supports a variety of internal and external clients from both the Affiliate and Business Development lines of business. In addition to technical web, email design and deployment abilities, this position also requires the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines, as well as effective person-to-person, telephone and online communication skills.

Job Objectives

The Web Design/ Email Campaign Manager is responsible for the timely and professional undertaking of the projects submitted to them in order to satisfy the demands of the internal and/or external client.

Responsibilities

• All steps required in undertaking email campaigns via our full service offering, including account creation, list uploading, campaign design and creation, testing, obtaining approval from client, deployment, reporting.
• Coordinating with appropriate internal resources for the timely and professional delivery of projects
• Problem solving to achieve the desired results, including the timely soliciting of assistance from the Privacy, Development, and Support departments, and any other available resources
• Meeting project deadlines
• Image editing, processing and design
• Web page and email template design and creation
• Visual tweaks and changes to web pages and email templates
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
• Maintain professional internal and external relationships and behaviors that meet company core values, namely customer satisfaction, self-management, collaboration, learning, innovation, goal-oriented, performance and hard work, and accountability.

Required skills and experience

Educational

  • College diploma in web design
  • Undergraduate University degree an asset.

Experience

  • 2+ years web development experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of current web design trends and techniques
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP, XML, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, required
  • Email specific design knowledge and experience a definite asset
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of the email industry a definite asset
  • A strong online portfolio of previous work as live websites
